Well, we home in on the end of Eolith's first year. I have had a significant rise in my casting costs recently and will soon get another slight bump due to the VAT rates jumping in the new year. Alas, a few of my prices will need to rise a bit in January. Not a fan of this but needs must...

...however...

Before we do all the doom and gloom of a price rise I thought I'd go right down the opposite direction and give you a last chance, not at the current prices but at sale prices. For the next two weeks, up until Thursday morning on the 17th December there's a site-wide sale on. I've put a significant discount on every figure on the site except the two new releases from a couple of weeks ago (as that would hardly be fair on the people who bought them so recently). So, if there was ever a time to try out Eolith's figures, it's now.

First up is Layla the Sorceress in 30mm scale, whom I sculpted on a whim earlier this year (I like to sculpt myself something as a birthday present once a year). She went down well with the folk I showed it to so she went off to the mouldmaker. Secondly is my first ever bust, an evil warrior (I see him as some sort of vampire or demon. With his brow like that, he's not quite human, that's for sure). Normally busts are rather large subjects but I've always had the idea in my head to sculpt smaller ones. This entire bust is 35mm tall and something equivalent to 1/20th scale (I think).

Anyway, I'm taking pre-orders as of today, and expect production casts in just a few days.

Incidentally, if you'd like to see more busts, why not let me know... I certainly enjoyed sculpting him.

Just to let everyone know, both 54mm Frankenstein’s Monster and 54mm Anastasia are both in stock and shipping. All pre-orders have shipped over the weekend (and some of you maybe finding them on your doorsteps this very day).

Little warning that I don’t have a huge amount of stock left of either after trade orders and pre-orders. So, be quick or there maybe a delay while I wait for more casts.

Well, the first of my 54mm Gothic Horror figures is now available for pre-order. First up is Frankenstein’s Monster and marks the first 54mm figure I’ve sculpted with a resin display base. Also up for pre-order is the remastered resin version of Spyglass’ Anastasia. Both figures will be in stock in around two weeks (might be a little sooner depending on my caster) and pre-orders will ship as soon as they arrive.

I have finally setup a page on here to sell my painted miniatures. All, one-of-a-kinds and your opportunity, in most cases (in fact all of the ones up today) to own minis painted by the sculptor (me).

After a good while of good intentions, I’ve finally got 54mm Shae released in the Spyglass section. Now in lovely resin for your painting pleasure.

Also, the Spyglass Classics pack has had it’s moulding issues sorted out and is now back in stock. I have decided not to sell the figures from this pack separately anymore as it’s not cost effective to do so given that hardly anyone was buying them, even when Katalin and Shae were reduced in price. I do still have a few spare Katalins left though so they’ll remain on sale at the reduced price until I run out. But the pack’s back and that’s awesome :)

Well, I’m a little behind schedule with my next 54mm sculpt (though the extra time she’s taking is really paying off in my opinion) but I didn’t want to leave you guys high and dry with releases for too long so I rummaged in my bag of tricks and dug up (pun intended) Zzzz the caricature zombie. Not really typical of the sort of models I plan for Eolith but he was fun to sculpt and I though some of you may get a kick out of him.

I’ve started a new category in the store for this sort of thing. The ‘misc’ section. Just need somewhere to put the random miniatures that don’t necessarily fit in.

Incidentally, if you like the zombie and would like to see more caricatures, there are two things you can do. Firstly, you can vote with your wallet. I enjoyed sculpting him and would like to do more caricatures if they sold well. Secondly, you could just drop me a line and let me know...
