Well, I've now received a small box of beautifully crisp Selenes, lovingly remoulded by my caster. And that means everything is back in stock now. So... go and buy something :D

After a few delays, I've now restocked nearly everything. The only figure still out of stock is 54mm Selene and this is because she needs a new production mould made and is running a few days behind. Hopefully she'll be back in the next week or so.

New release day at Eolith once more. Something a little different this time: Steve does something new in 28mm. Today's release is Sir Godric, the brave knight who is always ready for battle. I even found a little time to slap some paint on this one, which was fun after doing next to no painting over the last year.

Well, after a bit of a delay I can finally take 54mm Rose off her pre-order status as she's now in stock. All the pre-orders have shipped along with a small extra something as an apology for the delay.

This weekend is Salute, a huge wargames show in London. See here. Well, I'm not personally going to Salute but my wares will be (assuming Royal Mail cooperate and deliver my produce to the vendor in time). So, you'll (hopefully) be able to find Eolith minis on the Artemis Blacks stand. If they aren't on the stand then you can probably do even more cursing of that volcano...

Apologies, I'd hoped that Rose would be in stock by now but there have been a few delays with receiving the castings. I'm reliably informed that they'll be with me towards the end of this week.

Se is on pre-order as of today and should be shipping soon (the order for stock is placed and I'm just waiting on the stock). Firstly, after a bit of a delay, everything is back in stock. Phew!

Secondly, I have made a change to the Spyglass Classics pack. This was a pack that was a bit of a problem for me. It's a good seller but I make very little profit on it. Plus, apparently, a lot of you don't want the Katalin figure that comes with it. So, I've reduced the pack to just Shae, Inge and Si'Rene and lowered the price to £12. Due to the lack of margin on this pack I have also decided that it will now only be available direct from me.

Just to say that you may notice quite a few 'out of stocks' just at the moment. Waiting on a new casting run so it shouldn't be long.

Well, I held out as long as I could but, towards the end of last year, I had a significant rise in my casting costs. Fact of the matter is that my caster had to VAT register and my costs immediately shot up by 17.5% (actually they went up 15% and then another 2.5% on Jan 1st but you get the idea...). Now, resin casting is not cheap as it's labour intensive and I use a superb quality caster to ensure top-notch results. So, a price rise is required.

January was a busy month for me as I moved house and was sidelined by all the chaos that comes with it, but I now have myself a nice new place to live with a room dedicated as a miniatures studio. The good news is that I'm now back to sculpting after a few weeks where it really wasn't possible, so new releases aren't too far off now.

Oh and, alas, the Spyglass Classics pack is currently out of stock.

With a good tail wind I'm hoping that the next Eolith news update will be more fun than this one :)

Well, I wasn't a huge fan of 2009 (though starting Eolith and it doing pretty well was one of it's stronger points) but now it's 2010 and I'm looking forward to lots of cool new things. Actually, the first thing I'm doing is moving house and finally getting a separate room for an Eolith studio. Might even have room for a painting setup as I've hardly painted this year and I miss it more and more. So, can't wait for that :)

Then more new releases. Have an important commission to finish up right now but then, once settled in at the new place, I'm looking forward to diving into many new 54mm figs to get resined up for everyone.
